Air Vents & Vent Covers

  • Other(temp)

Air Vacuum Breakers are installed at the high points of the drip field to keep soil from being sucked into the drip emitters due to siphoning or back pressure. Air vents are required with underground drip systems. They are also used for proper draining of the supply and return manifolds in freezing conditions. Use one on the high end of the supply manifold and one at the high point of the flush manifold as well as on any other high points in the system.
